Nantucket Community Sailing is an educational non-profit that provides affordable access to sailing and water sports to the public. NCS was nationally recognized by US Sailing in 2010 with the award for “Outstanding Seasonal Program” and again in 2014 for “Outstanding Outreach and Inclusion.”

Now in its 22nd year, Nantucket Community Sailing offers a full range of private and group sailing programs and boat rentals for children and adults of all ages and ability levels at our Polpis Harbor, Jetties Sailing Center, and Children's Beach Pier locations.

Nantucket Community Sailing actively supports the local community by offering youth scholarships and outreach programming. In 2016 we served 1000 children and provided $130,000 in sailing scholarships and free community outreach programs. Nantucket Community Sailing additionally sponsors the Nantucket High School Sailing Team and works closely with many local non-profits to offer free sailing and watersports activities to youth and adult members of the Nantucket community, outside of regular programming.
